Witnesses live streamed on Facebook a brutal attack on a 62-year-old man instead of calling the police in a New York City apartment building on Jan. 25.
Neighbor Vianca Phillips expressed her outrage to WCBS:
Instead of taking out your camera and recording it, you could’ve called police, tried to stop the situation.
Neighbor Gilberto Graham saw the beating on social media:
I couldn’t believe that. I was watching it on my phone this morning. I said that couldn’t be him. That’s my friend. He don’t bother nobody.
Police released a photo that shows a person believed to be the suspect, and arrested Lytee Knox-Hundley, who has been charged with two counts of assault.
Medics rushed the victim to a hospital where he was treated for a broken nose and eye socket.
