There were shots fired at the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover, Albama, which left two people injured and the suspect dead, notes WBRC.
Police said the shooting was a result of a physical alternation involving two adults near a Footaction store.
After an 18-year-old male and 12-year-old female weres struck, the suspect, a 21-year-old, fled.
However, the suspect was killed by two police officers.
The officers involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave, pending an investigation into the shooting.
