White House: Trump Won’t Visit Arlington Cemetery On Veterans Day, Possibly Because Of Rain
The White House confirmed that President Donald Trump will not to visit the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia on Veterans Day.
Washington Post correspondent Josh Dawsey tweeted that the White House announced “a lid” on presidential movements, which means Trump is not scheduled to leave the White House.
Trump and other white Republicans often criticized President Barack Obama for not being patriotic enough even though the black president visited the Arlington National Cemetery for Veterans Day services on several occasions.
Trump also refused to visit a cemetery in France for WWI vets, which MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch revealed was because of his rain ruining his hair, notes RawStory.com:
This is so frightening and so simple, and people are going to try and understand why did Donald Trump not go pay homage to those military men who gave their lives for their country.
I know this man, and I know this is going to sound insane. You know probably the reason? His hair. This is what motivates this man. I’m not trying to be silly here. But it’s the truth. I know this man.
