White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany Says She Prayed to God– Before She Lied For Trump

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany told Pat Robertson’s CBN News that she prayed before her first press briefing, during which she lied for President Donald Trump:

I believe God put me in this place for a purpose and for a reason like he does with each and every life. We’re all here for a reason...

I was in panic mode right before. I was just rattled and extremely nervous and feeling a lot of anxiety. I called my mom and on speakerphone, my family and we all prayed together…and all of a sudden I took a deep breath and after those prayers, moved forward. I felt such strength, went in and talked to the president, and then walked out and did the job that only could be done if God was there helping you along the way.

McEnany also falsely claimed during a briefing with reporters on May 15 that not one American died from lack of a ventilator during the coronavirus pandemic.

Fox News host Chris Wallace and the editor of the conservative Dispatch, Jonah Goldberg, slammed McEnany on May 24 for her antagonistic behavior with journalists during COVID press briefings.

McEnany, who claims to follow Jesus Christ, had a long history of lying to defend Trump before she joined the Trump White House, noted Media Matters.

One of McEneny’s most absurd claims was on Fox Business when she said Trump would not allow coronavirus to enter the U.S. even though the deadly virus was already infecting Americans on Feb. 25.
