White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx dodger questions by deflecting by repeating warnings on how to avoid the deadly virus.
ABC News Jon Karl asked Birx: “Rand Paul tested positive for coronavirus … Under your guidelines outlined here, he would not have gotten the test. Does that seem like a good system?”
Birx held up a notebook of coronavirus instructions and called on people to follow them, which is not what Paul did.
Birx was also asked bout her opinion on Trump’s plan to reopen the country, and she rambled about gathering data.
What the president has asked it to do is assemble all the data and give us the best medical recommendation based on all the data.
REPORTER: Dr. Birx, do you agree with the president’s push to reopen the country?

In another bizarre moment, Trump asked Birx if the “angry media people” in the White House briefing room would someday not have to practice social distancing. Birx went in to a long rant about touching things accidentally, including her face.
