MSNBC Meteorologist Al Roker slammed Republican Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin for refusing to cancel school to protect children from a polar vortex that’s sweeping across the Midwest.
Bevin, who does not have a degree in meteorology, on a radio station that children have become “soft” because school is cancelled too often for bad weather conditions, noted the Courier- Journal.
There’s no ice going with it or any snow. What happens to America. We’re getting soft, Terry, we’re getting soft.
In response, Roker destroyed Bevin’s painful non-logic:
This nitwit governor in Kentucky, saying, “Oh, we’re weak,” These are kids who are going to be subzero windchills! No, cancel school! Stop it. You know, adults, if they want to be out there — these are our children. I’m glad you’re not a teacher.
