Cache County Sheriff Chad Jensen told KTVX that the mechanic Wyatt Pack, who was filmed cursing at Jose Caballero and his family, could face disorderly conduct, assault and threat charges.
Caballero’s wife filmed Pack ordering the family to move their truck:
F***ing move it! Are you f***ing deaf? Do these work? Move it!
Caballero told Pack that his power steering not working but Pack shouted back:
“I’m a f***ing diesel mechanic for Weber County, and I know you’re f***ing stupid.
Pack finally agrees to help the Caballero family tow their truck, bit only for all the money they have on them:
But you’re gonna pay us. How much money do you got?
The Caballero family pays Pack $40 for the tow.
Weber County responded to the video:
We are sickened and outraged watching this video. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the helpful, kind, customer service attitude we expect of Weber County employees.
While the incident occurred in Cache County, we hold the combined belief that our parks are created with the intention of facilitating wholesome family-friendly recreation. The employee in question has been placed on administrative leave as we conduct an internal investigation into his disturbing behavior.
Caballero posted the video to YouTube, but has not responded to questions; neither has Pack.
