Twitter Temporarily Restricts Donald Trump Jr’s Account After He Posts Bogus Video About COVID-19 ‘Cure’ Hydroxychloroquine

Donald Trump Jr. had his Twitter account temporarily restricted after he tweeted a video of Dr. Stella Immanuel claiming that she has cured and prevented COVID-19 with hydroxychloroquine, which is an anti-malaria medication that the FDA pulled as a treatment for COVID-19 in June.

President Donald Trump retweeted multiple versions of the video on Twitter, but did not upload a version of the video to the site as Donald Jr. did, reports CNN.

Twitter said in a statement that Donald Jr.’s account had “not been permanently suspended.”
