Trump’s Sister Maryanne Says He Has ‘No Principles’ and ‘You Can’t Trust Him’

Maryanne Trump Barry was secretly recorded trashing her brother, President Donald Trump, in 2018 and 2019.

Maryanne was recorded by her niece Mary Trump, who recently wrote a best-selling tell-all book about the president. Mary gave the recordings to the Washington Post.

Maryanne, who was a federal judge, slammed her brother when he was separating immigrant from their parents and caging them:

All he wants to do is appeal to his base. He has no principles. None. None. And his base, I mean, my God, if you were a religious person, you want to help people. Not do this...

His g*ddamned tweet and lying, oh my God. I’m talking too freely, but you know. The change of stories. The lack of preparation. The lying. Holy sh*t...

It’s the phoniness of it all. It’s the phoniness and this cruelty. Donald is cruel.

Maryanne also recalled how she tried to helped the future president into college:

He was a brat. I did his homework for him. I drove him around New York City to try to get him into college.

He went to Fordham for one year [actually two years] and then he got into University of Pennsylvania because he had somebody take the exams. SATs or whatever … That’s what I believe. even remember the name [Joe Shapiro].

White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows tried to smear Maryanne during an appearance on ABC’s This Week on Aug. 23:

Just another day and another attack. I’ve never met the judge. I was at the funeral, I was hoping to meet her there. She didn’t show up for her brother’s funeral. And the president that I have the privilege of serving is not the one that is being described on a 15 hour secret tape.
