Postmaster General Louis DeJoy told Rep. Katie Porter (D-California) that he didn’t know how much money it took to mail a postcard, a greeting card in a square envelope or priority mail (MORE VIDEO BELOW).
Porter also asked DeJoy who ordered the recent major changes at the post office such as removing stand-alone post office boxes and sorting machines. DeJoy said he didn’t know.
DeJoy said he would not reverse the changes, despite not knowing who made the changes.
“I’m glad you know the price of a stamp, but I’m concerned about your understanding of this agency. And I’m particularly concerned about it because you started taking very decisive action when you became Postmaster General.”@RepKatiePorter breaks it down. pic.twitter.com/U6e8k88BzL— Mother Jones (@MotherJones) August 24, 2020
