President Donald Trump’s federal police beat and tear gassed U.S. Navy veteran Chris David, who did not budge, in Portland, Oregon on June 18 (MORE VIDEO BELOW).
David told CNN anchor Brianna Keilar on July 19 that he simply asked the unmarked federal cops a question:
I was going to ask why they weren’t living up to their oath of office, the Constitution. All I wanted to do was ask them why?
Trump’s feds responded by beating David — who wore his Naval Academy gear — with their batons and sprayed him with pepper spray.
David explained how he took their beating without moving:
I was hoping they wouldn’t shoot me, because one had a weapon pointing it right at my chest. I’m relieved that I only got hit by batons and pepper spray. The baton hits weren’t the issue but when they used pepper spray it was over; it felt like they dumped a gallon of burning gasoline on my head.
