Trump Tries To Censor Michael Wolff’s Book About Trump White House
President Donald Trump is trying to censor author Michael Wolff’s new book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” about the Trump family and administration.
Carol Leonnig, of The Washington Post, tweeted that Trump’s lawyers have contacted Wolff and the book’s publisher Henry Holt:
NEW this am: Trump attorneys send cease-and-desist letter this morning to Wolff and book publisher @HenryHolt demanding they stop publication and issue an apology to @realDonaldTrump for defamatory statements made thus far.

Trump’s attorneys are also trying to censor Breitbart News chief Steve Bannon, who served as Trump’s former White House chief strategist and was a source in Wolff’s book.
Trump’s lawyers sent Bannon a cease-and-desist letter and warned they would take legal action against him for alleged “defamation by libel and slander, and breach of his written confidentiality and non-disparagement agreement,” notes Newsweek.
