President Donald Trump said on April 24 that he was being “sarcastic” to reporters when he suggested on April 23 that injecting disinfectants into the lungs could stop the coronavirus (MORE VIDEO BELOW):
I was asking a sarcastic, a very sarcastic question, to the reporters in the room about disinfectant on the inside. But it does kill it.
However, Trump was serious when he made his statement on April 23.
The disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute, and is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside, or almost a cleaning. It gets in the lungs.
Trump also told reporter Jeff Mason on April 24 that he was talking to him on April 23 inside the White House, but Mason reminded Trump that he was not present on April 23.

JEFF MASON: I wasn’t there yesterday
ANOTHER REPORTER: You were looking at Dr Birx
