Speaking at a rally in Swanton, Ohio, President Donald Trump told the crowd that COVID-19 only affects “elderly people with heart problems” and “affects virtually nobody” on the same day that CNN reported 28-year-old Adeline Fagan, a second-year OB-GYN resident, passed away from the coronavirus (SEE VIDEO BELOW).
Fagan was treating COVID-19 patients in the ER on July 18 when she fell ill with the deadly virus. Doctors treated her with several different respiratory therapies, dozens of drugs and an experimental drug trial over the next three months.
Fagan’s father, Brent, kept an online journal about his dying daughter:
If you can do one thing, be an “Adeline” in the world. Be passionate about helping others less fortunate, have a smile on your face, a laugh in your heart, and a Disney tune on your lips.
