President Donald Trump said during his daily coronavirus press conference that 100,000 deaths due to the coronavirus would be “a very low number.”
Trump praised himself after White House coronavirus response coordinator Dr. Deborah Birx said “no intervention” in the coronavirus crisis would have resulted in 1.5 to 2 million deaths, while “with intervention” there will likely be 100,000-240,000 deaths (VIDEO BELOW).
In numerical comparison, 100,000 American deaths would be twice the number of Americans who were killed in the Vietnam War over 10 years.
