Trump Plans to End Federal Funding For Coronavirus Testing on June 30, COVID-19 Skyrockets in 29 States

CNBC reports that President Donald Trump plans to end federal funding for coronavirus cases on June 30.

Trump has repeatedly said that he intentionally slowed down life-saving COVID-19 testing to keep coronavirus numbers down.

COVID-19 cases are surging in 29 states, with nine states reporting record highs on June 22, notes the Washington Post.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the number of COVID-19 tests is about 27 million with about 10 percent of those coming back positive.
