Trump Officials Duck Questions About The Harm Caused By Trump’s Government Shutdown
Trump administration officials are ducking questions about the harm caused by President Donald Trump’s federal shutdown.
NPR radio host Steve Inskeep noted that the federal shutdown may cause danger in air travel, per warnings from the Air Traffic Controllers Association.
Inskeep asked White House spokeswoman Mercedes Schlapp four times if someone dying in an air crash was worth Trump’s border wall, but she dodged all four times.
Larry Kudlow, director of President Donald Trump’s National Economic Council, dodged when Fox News host Sandra Smith when she asked: “Can you quantify that at all, what you are seeing is or eventually will be the effect of the shutdown on the economy?”
