North Korean representatives met with President Donald Trump to deliver a letter from North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, which Trump said he read and then said he didn’t.
Trump told reporters that Kim’s note “was a very nice letter, a very interesting letter,” but 8 minutes later Trump admitted he hadn’t opened it yet.
Trump also said that the on-again-off-again summit with Kim was back on, notes CBS News.
NEW: U.S.-North Korea summit is back on, Pres. Trump says; “June 12, we will be in Singapore. I’ve never said it happens in one meeting — you’re talking about years of hostility, years of problems, years of hatred between so many different nations.” https://t.co/he9uLA17dy pic.twitter.com/hSYtXLcBxQ
