Trump Lawyer Jordan Sekulow Falsely Claims Democrats Have Not Voted for Coronavirus Relief, They Voted For $3 Trillion Relief on May 15
President Donald Trump’s lawyer Jordan Sekulow falsely claimed on his dad’s radio show “Jay Sekulow Live” that House Democrats had not voted for coronavirus relief money even though they voted for a $3 trillion dollar relief package on May 15, noted CNBC.
The word on Capitol Hill is that a vote in the House could happen this Saturday on the issue with the Postal Service. Not Coronavirus relief, but instead giving billions of dollars to the Postal Service. https://t.co/NWqh55q7ej— Jordan Sekulow (@JordanSekulow) August 17, 2020
Jordan tried to scold Democrats for planning to vote to fund the United States Postal Service, but failed to mention that Trump admitted to Fox News on Aug. 13 that he opposed funding the post office because he didn’t want mail-in voting.
Trump this morning why he won’t fund US Postal Service. “Now they need that money in order to make the post office work so it can take all of these millions and millions of ballots … But if they don’t get those two items that means you can’t have universal mail-in voting.” pic.twitter.com/73NBmSnoNC— The Recount (@therecount) August 13, 2020
