President Donald Trump falsely claimed that his daughter Ivanka “created over 15 million jobs,” during a phone call with business leaders.
Vox notes that in January, before the coronavirus caused mass unemployment, there were about 152 million people employed in the U.S., per the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Using Trump’s math, Ivanka would have created about 10 percent of all the jobs in the U.S.
