President Donald Trump claimed — without any evidence — during a press conference that most women are angry with the women who accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault.
Trump also falsely implied, for the sixth time, that 52 percent of women supported him, when he only won 41-42 percent of women in the 2016 election:
The people that have complained to me about it the most, about what’s happening are women. Women are very angry.
You know, I got 52 percent with women. Everyone said this couldn’t happen. But 52 percent of women are so angry. Frankly, I think they like what the Republicans are doing.
But I think they would have liked to have seen it go a lot faster.
