Trump Admits No Proof Middle Easterners Are In Migrant Caravan After Pence Claims They’re In Caravan

President Donald Trump admitted that there is no proof of Middle Easterners being in a large migrant caravan, only hours after Vice President Mike Pence said “it is inconceivable there would not be individuals from the Middle East as part of this growing caravan.”

Trump made his announcement in the Oval Office, after falsely claiming for days that Middle Easterners were in the caravan:

There’s no proof of anything, there’s no proof of anything. But there could very well be.

Trump also claimed — without proof — that he had “very good information” from the Border Patrol  and other government officials that they’ve “intercepted many people from the Middle East,” both “good ones and bad ones”  in recent years.
