Trump Admits He Dictated Lie About Trump Jr.’s Meeting With Russian Lawyer

President Donald Trump admitted that he wrote a false statement that Donald Trump Jr. gave in 2017 regarding his meeting with a Russian lawyer in Trump Tower in 2016.

During a press conference on the White House lawn, Trump justified this latest lie to the American people by claiming it was okay because it was to The New York Times:

It’s irrelevant! It’s a statement to The New York Times — the phony, failing New York Times. That’s not a statement to a high tribunal of judges. That’s a statement to the phony New York Times. In fact, frankly, he shouldn’t even speak to The New York Times because they only write phony stories anyway!
