An unidentified teen boy was filmed hurling a cat at least 20 yards into a street in San Bernardino, California (video below).
The video was originally filmed on Snapchat, but has gone viral on Twitter, reports KCBS.
Officials said the cat did survive but has a broken leg:
We are investigating the animal cruelty to a cat video. We have located the cat & owner. The cat has leg fracture but is going to be ok.

The user who originally shared the video identified themselves as a student at A.B. Miller High School in Fontana, notes The Press-Enterprise.
