A Chester County poll worker in South Carolina allowed statehouse candidate Jennifer Brecheisen and her husband to vote even though they refused to wear safety masks on Oct. 26.
Sixty-nine-year-old poll worker Earl Moorehad had to empty a room at the Chester County Elections Commission until Brecheisen and her husband had cast their ballots and walked out, reports The Post and Courier.
Brecheisen filmed Moore whom she claimed “bullied” her, and posted the video on Facebook:
That was rude to me. You cleared out the whole building like I’m some sort of disease. I’m not a disease.
Moore tried to explain his actions to the science-challenged Republican:
We’re in a closed room with a lot of people in it, and I’ve got somebody refusing to wear a mask. Why should I take the risk of her infecting other people? I’m not keeping you from voting, ma’am. But I’m not going to stand here and argue with you either.
Brecheisen, a wedding photographer and outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump, is running against Democratic state Rep. Annie McDaniel.
