Secretary Of State Mike Pompeo Rushes To Support Saudi Arabia Leader Who Ordered Murder Of American Journalist
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is rushing to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who reportedly ordered the brutal killing of American journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018.
The U.S. State Department said Pompeo and bin Salman will discuss the recent oil facility attacks against Saudi Arabia and to “coordinate efforts to counter Iranian aggression in the region,” reports USA TODAY.
The Trump administration and the murderous Saudi Arabian government claim Iran was behind the attacks.
Both President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence have said the U.S. is “locked and loaded” regarding Iran.
The Houthis, an Iranian-allied rebel group based in Yemen, claimed they attacked the oil facilities.
Saudi Arabia — which consistently lied about the murder of Khashoggi in 2018 — said an investigation showed that Iranian weapons were used in the attack.
