Sarah Palin’s Son, Track Palin, Arrested Again For Domestic Violence, Accuser Is His Dad
Track Palin, the eldest son of former half-term Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, was arrested for a second time on domestic violence charges. This time against his own father, Todd Palin.
According to court records, Track was arrested on Dec. 16 and was charged with felony burglary, assault in the fourth degree and criminal mischief for causing property damage in Wasilla, Alaska, notes NBC News.
An employee of the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility in Palmer, Alaska, said Track was listed as being held there as of Dec. 17.
Sworn police affidavit and charging documents said Todd told Track not tome home because Track had been drinking and taking pain medication, according to the Los Angeles Times.
“Track told him he was [going to] come anyway to beat his ass,” according to an police affidavit.
Track allegedly broke a window, entered the Palin home house, pushed Todd to the ground and hit him repeatedly on the head, the court documents said.
Sarah called the police and said her son was “freaking out and was on some type of medication.”
Track was also arrested in Wasilla in 2016 and charged with assault, interfering with a domestic violence report and misconduct involving weapons.
At the time, Sarah blamed his arrest on President Obama’s supposed lack of respect for the military, reported The Hill:
They come back wondering if there is that respect for what it is that their fellow soldiers and airmen and every other member of the military so sacrificially have given to this country.
It starts from the top, the question though that comes from our own president, where they have to look at him and wonder, “Do you know what we go through, do you know what we’re trying to do to secure America and to secure the freedoms that have been bequeathed us?”
