White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted on June 23 that she “always” does her “best to treat people,” including those she disagrees with, “respectfully.”
Sanders was complaining about being asked to leave a restaurant in Virginia because she works for President Donald Trump, who has a long history of racism:
Last night I was told by the owner of Red Hen in Lexington, VA to leave because I work for @POTUS and I politely left. Her actions say far more about her than about me. I always do my best to treat people, including those I disagree with, respectfully and will continue to do so

MSNBC host Chris Jansing debunked Sanders’ false claim by showing just a few of the times when Sanders has been nasty to reporters in the White House briefing room.
