Reporters Ask Sarah Huckabee Sanders About Her Trump Jr. Letter Lie, She Pretends She Can’t Comment

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was squirmed and evaded questions when she was confronted by the White House press corp about her lie from Aug. 8, 2017.

Sanders told the journalists that President Donald Trump did not dictate a July 2017 letter for Donald Trump Jr. about Trump Jr.’s meeting with Russians in Trump Tower in June 2016:

He certainly didn’t dictate, but he — like I said, he weighed in, offered suggestion like any father would do.

Sanders’ lie was exposed by a January 2018 letter by Trump’s lawyers to Special Counsel Robert Mueller that was recently leaked to The New York Times:

You have received all of the notes, communications and testimony indicating that the President dictated a short but accurate response to the New York Times article on behalf of his son, Donald Trump, Jr.
