Rep. Neal Dunn Has Coronavirus, He Voted to Take Health Care Away From 20 Million Americans
Rep. Neal Dunn (R-FL) tested positive for the COVID-19 virus on April 6, according to an email from Dunn’s office:
After meeting CDC criteria, he was tested for COVID-19 and has received notice that the results came back positive.
Dunn, who is a doctor and a surgeon, was feeling ill and went to an emergency room where he got tested, reports the Pensacola News Journal.
Dunn voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) in 2017. If Dunn and other Republicans had been successful over 20 million Americans would have lost their health care.
According to Sunshine State News, Dunn said that Obamacare was “failing” because “Americans are facing higher premiums and deductibles that no one can afford.”
In reality, Obamacare never sets premium or deductible prices. Those fees are set by multi-billion dollar insurance companies and approved by their respective state regulators.
As part of his fearmongering in 2017, Dunn falsely claimed the “health care system in a freefall, there is no time to lose.”
