Rep. Mo Brooks Said to Start ‘Kicking *ss’ Hours Before Capitol Riot, Rep. Madison Cawthorn Told Voters to ‘Lightly Threaten’ Lawmakers

The New York Times reports that On the day of the U.S. Capitol riot, Jan. 6, Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) told Trump supporters to start “kicking ass” hours before the violence began (MORE VIDEO BELOW):

Today is the day American patriots start taking down names and kicking *ss… Are you willing to do what it takes to fight for America? Louder! Will you fight for America?

Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) told Trump supporters at a Turning Point USA event in December 2020 to “lightly threaten” lawmakers who accept the the legitimate presidential election results from a month earlier (MORE VIDEO BELOW).

Cawthorn — who dropped out of college and was rejected by the U.S. Naval Academy — claimed he was pushing for “election integrity”:

Call your congressman and feel free — you can lightly threaten them. Say: “If you don’t support election integrity, I’m coming after you. Madison Cawthorn’s coming after you. Everybody’s coming after you.”
