Rep. Martha McSally Whines Because She’s Being Held Responsible For Trying To Gut Health Care
Republican Rep. Martha McSally of Arizona, who is running for the U.S. Senate, whined to Fox News radio host Sean Hannity that she is getting her “ass kicked” because she voted to repeal Obamacare, which protects people with pre-existing conditions.
McSally voted for the Republican’s American Health Care Act in 2017, which would have repealed Obamacare and allowed insurance companies to reject people with pre-existing conditions with state permission.
The Congressional Budget Office noted that 23 million Americans would have lost their health insurance if the Republicans had succeeded.
McSally whined to The Arizona Republic that she is having her “character assassinated” because of her vote.
McSally, who opposes universal health coverage for all Americans, said that “people right now, under Obamacare, with pre-existing conditions who have no health insurance.”
However, those people have not been denied coverage because of their pre-existing conditions, but rather because of the greed of the health insurance industry, which McSally failed to mention.
McSally claimed people don’t want to buy “crappy insurance” under Obamacare, which requires health insurance plans to cover more physical and mental illnesses than ever before.
