Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a high-five to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, who reportedly ordered the murder and dismemberment of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi (more video below).
Putin and bin Salman had a warm greeting at the G20 summit in Argentina where President Donald Trump was supposed to meet with Putin, but pulled out, notes RT.com.
Trump claimed he pulled out of the meeting because of Russian maneuvers in the Ukraine, but Russia said Trump pulled out because of his “domestic problems,” reports MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson:
This morning, Russia came out and blasted back and said ‘we think the reason for the cancellation is not Ukraine. we think it’s because of the Michael Cohen story, the domestic issues that the president faces back home.
This appears to be a response to that since a lot of folks have been asking, ‘hey, does Russia have a point here.”
Remember, the president only cancelled that talk with Putin when he was on Air Force One. The incident happened over the weekend when Russia seized on, fired on three Ukrainian vessels.
