Professor — Who Led Fight Against SARS — Says COVID-19 Came From ‘Wet Markets’ Where Animals Are Openly Killed

Professor Gabriel Leung, who led the fight against the SARS virus, told “60 Minutes Australia” that 60 percent of the world’s population could become infected with COVID-19 and that up to 45 million people might die.

“60 Minutes Australia” reporter Liam Bartlett traveled to Hong Kong and Thailand to find out the likely cause of the disease, animals that are openly killed and sold in “wet markets.”
