Pro-Trump ‘Focus on the Family’ Promised Info About The Coronavirus, Aired 30-Minute Commercial Instead
Focus on the Family promoted their April 17 live video broadcast as an event that would discuss the deadly coornavirus and explain how they are “ministering to families at this time” (VIDEO BELOW).
However, the broadcast, hosted by Jim Daly and John Fuller, was little more than a 30-minute commercial to hype their animated series for young children “Adventures in Odyssey” (Daly’s 19-year-old son still watches it), a request for financial donations from listeners, a plug about an upcoming anti-abortion event and an explanation about how Focus on the Family employees are working from home.
Daly — who has a long history misinforming the public — took some swipes at New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and then complained about the involvement of politics in the coornavirus pandemic. No mention was made of Trump.
