‘Pro-Life’ Trump Whines About States Needing Tests to Track The Coronavirus, Death Toll Now Over 40,000
President Donald Trump went on Twitter (below) to attack governors across the country who need the federal government to pay for coronavirus test kits so that the states can better track the deadly virus, and set goals for reopening their economies.
Multiple governors, including Republicans Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan and Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker, have said they do not have enough tests.
Trump falsely claimed that governors want the federal government to literally do the testing, when they only asked for the tests.
So far over 40,000 Americans have died.
… “Testing, Testing, Testing,” again playing a very dangerous political game. States, not the Federal Government, should be doing the Testing – But we will work with the Governors and get it done. This is easy compared to the fast production of thousands of complex Ventilators!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) April 20, 2020
