Poll: Trump Voters Say Men Are More Discriminated Against Than LGBTQ People

President Donald Trump’s supporters claim in a new poll that men — who control most everything — are more discriminated against than LGBTQ people.

A YouGov and The Economist poll found that 49 percent of Trump fans believe men face either “a great deal” or “a fair amount” of discrimination, while 41 percent said LGBTQ people were discriminated against, notes The Hill.

Forty-two percent of Trump supporters said Mexican-Americans face discrimination, while only 38 percent believe the same about African-Americans and 30 percent claimed women do.

The YouGov-Economist survey found that 92 percent of Clinton voters believe LGBTQ people face either “a great deal” or “a fair amount” of discrimination, along with Muslims (95 percent), immigrants (92 percent), Arab-Americans (91 percent), African-Americans and Mexican-Americans (90 percent each), and women (88 percent).
