Poll: 31% Falsely Believe Trump Repealed Obamacare

A new poll says that about one-third of Americans falsely believe President Donald Trump repealed ObamaCare.

An Economist–YouGov poll found that 31 percent said Obamacare was repealed, while 49 percent said it was not, and 21 percent weren’t sure, notes The Hill.

A staggering 44 percent of Republicans believed Trump’s lie about Obamacare being repealed last week:

When the individual mandate is being repealed, that means ObamaCare is being repealed. We have essentially repealed ObamaCare and we will come up with something much better.

In reality, the GOP tax bill eliminated the individual mandate, which required that Americans get health insurance although people could opt out due to finances.
