Police have charged Patresha Isidore for allegedly driving 19 miles with her ex-boyfriend, Junior Francis, clinging to the hood of their 2010 Mercedes on Interstate 95 in Florida on June 24.
Isidore was charged with a misdemeanor for exposing Francis to “risk of injury or death,” reports The Smoking Gun.
According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, Francis climbed on the car hood to stop Isidore from leaving a residence in Lauderhill, Florida.
Police said Isidore began driving on local roads, and then Interstate 95 where she pulled into “the express lane at speed consistent with other traffic.”
Another driver filmed Francis held onto the car hood at close to 70 mph. Deputies put an end to the bizarre ride at an intersection.
Francis reportedly told the deputies that he has a five-year-old daughter with Isidore, and did not want to prosecute her.
However, Francis told a 911 police operator that Isidore was “swerving the car and I’m on top of the car. I really need help.”
