Frontier Airlines said a woman was removed from an Orlando to Cleveland flight because of her emotional support animal, a squirrel, on Oct. 9.
Frontier Airlines noted that the woman said in her reservation that she was bringing an emotional support animal, but did not say it was a squirrel, reports WJW-TV.
Frontier Airlines said that it doesn’t allow “rodents, including squirrels” on its flights.
According to Frontier Airlines, the woman was told of the policy and was asked to get off the plane, but she refused and the police were called.
In a video tweeted by passenger Brandon Nixon, the woman was wheeled off the plane by Orlando police officers who reportedly took her to the main terminal.
