UPDATE: Two police officers have been suspended without pay for their part in shoving the 75-year-old man on the concrete where he bled, notes WGRZ. Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown said the man is in serious, but stable condition, and that he was “deeply disturbed” by the video.
Police violently shoved an elderly peaceful protester down on the pavement in Buffalo, New York, and pushed away a WBFO reporter who was filming the brutal incident on June 4.
None of the police rendered aid to the bleeding man, but a National Guard member did.
The Buffalo Police Department falsely claimed that the senior “tripped & fell” even though the video clearly shows the man being pushed. The cop who pushed the elderly man is reportedly Officer Aaron Torgalski.
