Pence Falsely Claims ‘We Flattened the Curve’ as US Sets One-Day Record: 41K New COVID-19 Cases

Vice President Mike Pence falsely claimed during a press conference that “we slowed the spread. We flattened the curve… we’re in a much better place” as the U.S. set a new record for COVID-19 cases, 41,000 on June 25, reports Business Insider (MORE VIDEO BELOW).

Pence — who once claimed the coronavirus pandemic in the US would be “behind us” by Memorial Day falsely claimed the rise in COVID-19 cases was because of increased testing: “We want the American people to understand that it’s almost inarguable that more testing is generating more cases.”

Pence also made the absurd claim that all 50 states “are opening up safely and responsibly” on the day the U.S. set a new record for COVID-19 cases (41,000 on June 25), reports CBS News.
