Paul Manafort’s Mugshot Released As He Is Transferred From ‘VIP’ Prison To New Jail
Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s mugshot was released as he was transferred from the Northern Neck Regional Jail to the Alexandria Detention Center by Judge T.S. Ellis.
Manafort reportedly bragged about his VIP treatment at the Northern Neck Regional Jail, which allegedly included a private, self-contained living unit, which is larger than other inmates’ units, his own bathroom and shower facility, his own personal telephone, and his own workspace to prepare for trial
Ellis noted the Alexandria jail has held high-profile defendants “including foreign and domestic terrorists, spies and traitors,” noted Reuters.
Manafort is charged with numerous crimes ranging ranging from bank fraud to failing to register as a foreign agent for lobbying work for pro-Russia politicians in Ukraine.
