Non-Masked Evangelicals Knock On 1 Million Doors For Trump’s Campaign, Many Voters Refuse to Open Their Doors
The Faith & Freedom Coalition, founded by evangelical activist Ralph Reed, claims to have knocked on nearly 1 million doors in 21 states to tell people to vote for President Donald Trump.
A picture of some of the Faith & Freedom Coalition volunteers, published in The Christian Post, shows that none of them are wearing safety masks.
Faith & Freedom Coalition Executive Director Tim Head told The Christian Post how some people don’t open their doors, so his volunteers leave a unsolicited right wing voter guide outside:
More people are home than normal. But we also see a fair number of people who come to the door but don’t necessarily want to open the door…
I would say 20% of the people that we go to their home just kind of come to the window and kind of wave politely but may not open the door. In that case, we leave the voter guide on the door hanger or knob.
Head claimed that Trump’s failed response to the COVID-19 pandemic — which has killed nearly 200,000 people is working in his favor with voters:
So COVID shutdowns and riots are top of mind for faith-based voters. If that continues to be the case for the next 60 days, I think that Trump’s positioning on those two issues bodes well for him.
