New ‘Batman’ Film Stops Production After Robert Pattinson Tests Positive for Coronavirus: Report
The Warner Bros. movie “The Batman” has shut down production in England, after resuming filming for three days, because a member of the production tested positive for COVID-19, reports Deadline.
A “highly placed source” told Vanity Fair that star Robert Pattinson tested positive for the coronavirus, Pattinson’s reps would not comment.
The film — directed by Matt Reeves — stopped production 5 1/2 months ago because of the coronavirus.
A Warner Bros. spokesperson delivered the news:
A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.
