Man Wearing ‘Proud Boys’ Shirt Flicks Lit Cigarette At Bearded Man, Gets Beat Up

A man wearing a “Proud Boys” T-shirt flicked a lit cigarette at a bearded man, and promptly got beat up on Sept. 17 in the Westport area of Kansas City, Missouri.

The “Proud Boys” are a right wing group founded by Gavin McInnes, and have “been open and very consistent about using violence as a tool,” Keegan Hankes, of the Southern Poverty Law Center, told The Guardian in July. McInnes claims the “Proud Boys” do not promote violence.

The “Proud Boys” man flicked the cigarette at the bearded man because he asked, “Do you realize what his shirt is?”

The two squared off for a fight, which was quickly won by the bearded man who tore the man’s “Proud Boys”  T-shirt up during the short brawl, which was tweeted by Boy Oh’ Boii.
