Jared Kushner Proposes Mass ‘Surveillance’ System to Track Americans During Coronavirus

President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and White House advisor Jared Kushner has proposed a national “surveillance” system that would “give the government a near real-time view of where patients are seeking treatment and for what, and whether hospitals can accommodate them,” notes POLITICO.

Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano said that Kushner’s “surveillance” idea “terrifies those of us who believe the Constitution and believes what it says” and noted it would violate U.S. patient privacy laws such as HIPPA:

The Fourth Amendment says no government can survey you without a search warrant! They can’t engage in mass surveillance, whether it’s for your safety or health or just for their lurid desires of knowing where everybody is.
