Jared Kushner Mocked For Giving Speech At U.S. Embassy Opening In Jerusalem, Still Lacks Security Clearance
President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and special advisor Jared Kushner was mocked on Twitter for being chosen to give a speech at the opening of the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem because he still lacks a security clearance (video below).
I’ve a higher security clearance than Jared Kushner

Someone please remind me again why Jared Kushkush, who doesn’t even have a security clearance, is delivering a speech at that embassy right now like he’s the Secretary of State?? pic.twitter.com/MIUMVgwqb2

I just turned on my television to the unfortunate sight of Jared Kushner speaking, in Jerusalem, to an audience of MAGA hat wearing Cultists, whilst under investigation and having lower security clearance than the WH Stenographer. Not even 10am and I’m already sick to my stomach.

Jared Kushner: Next year we will move the embassy to the top of the temple mount, build a casino, and carry our orange calf up to the newly minted TRUMP Dome of the Rock.

Jared Kushner, because when I want foreign policy expertise I turn to the underachieving and overleveraged son of a criminally corrupt slumlord who married into the family of a bloated orange and even more criminally corrupt slumlord and game show host

Jared and Ivanka partying it up in Jerusalem while Israeli forces massacre Palestinians in Gaza is a level of depravity you can only find in the Trump and Netanyahu administrations.

People who told us Obama lacked experience are quite pleased that Jared Kushner is setting policy.

Stands in the heart of the #TrumpRussia criminal investigation.
Has no security clearance.
No diplomatic experience.
Born a third generation multimillionaire.
Married Trump’s daughter.
Why is Jared Kushner speaking for the United States in Israel while Palestine burns? pic.twitter.com/7eao1aa8aN

Jared’s Middle East peace plan is working so well. Tell me again why someone who can’t get security clearance is speaking in Israel representing the US.
— MP (@empowers35) May 14, 2018
Let me be really clear.
Jared Kushner is one of the biggest traitors in the history of this country. He absolutely does not represent the people of the United States of America. He’s an international disgrace just like his father-in-law, who only hired him cuz he married Ivanka.

JARED KUSHNER, POLITICS EXPERT: What if we rebranded the neighborhood as GaStriBo?

I need some handcuffs to bring Jared’s wrists together… https://t.co/MZRFsfmcOe

I missed the part where I voted for Jared Kushner, or he had the background to be the voice of the United States, or heck, even security clearance. And then I remembered, we live in an authoritarian regime now, so of course a family member is speaking for us. https://t.co/vTVBFA5p6f

The Guardian notes that 41 Palestinian protesters were killed in Gaza while protesting the opening of the new embassy. Kushner made a passing reference to those killed as “part of the problem”:
As we have seen from the protests of the last month and even today, those provoking violence are part of the problem and not part of the solution.
AlterNet reports that the White House edited out Kushner calling the Palestinian protesters “part of the problem” in the official transcript.
