Internal Trump Admin Document Predicts 3,000 Deaths Per Day by June, Contradicts Trump’s Promise

An internal Trump administration document obtained by The New York Times says there could be many as 3,000 deaths per day from coronavirus virus by June.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) document also predicts more than of 175,000 new cases of Covid-19 each day.

The CDC document contradicts President Donald Trump’s rosey promise on March 29 for June: “We can expect that, by June 1st, we will be well on our way to recovery. We think, by June 1st, a lot of great things will be happening.”

White House deputy press secretary Judd Deere said the CDC document is “not a White House document” and hadn’t been presented to the coronavirus task force.

The CDC report, labeled a situation update, comes as some states are starting the White House’s phased reopening plan even though the administration’s guidelines have not yet been met.
