Innocent Black Teen Held At Gunpoint, Handcuffed By Police For Riding With His White Grandma After Church

A black teen was held at gunpoint and handcuffed while riding with his white grandmother after church in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, on Sept. 2 (more video below).

An unidentified couple told a police officer that the 18-year-old was robbing two older white women in a blue Lexus, notes the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

With guns drawn, police commanded the teen to get out of the car, walk backwards and drop to his knees so that he could be placed in handcuffs and put in a police car for questioning (without a lawyer).

Wauwatosa Police Capt. Brian Zalewski  laughingly claimed the cops kept their handguns pointed in a safe direction.

The grandmother is heard on the police car video: “I’m sure he [the person who reported it] saw two white ladies in a car with a black kid and he made some assumptions.”
